Marilyn Monroe was considered the sexiest woman of her time. she doesnt have the gap, you cant see her ribs, her hair doesnt come down to her ass.
she’s pretty much the opposite of what everyone risks their lives and tries so hard to be.
society you fucked up.

Confidence is key.  She accepted her body.  You’ll feel and will be seen as gorgeous and sexy once you accept who you are and what you look like.

Are you even serious? It was the 50s! There were completely different beauty standarts! She was an ideal for her era. Do you think that beauty standarts never change?

URGENT: today in Russia, a terrible bill passed in the Russian parliament’s lower house that censors all things considered “gay”. It’s our local partners’ worst nightmare and we need your help.
This vote comes off the back of two brutal anti-gay murders in Russia, and the trial of a major LGBT rights organisation today.
Tell world leaders to STOP the crackdown, add your name:www.allout.org/russia-attacks

REALLY IMPORTANT

two of the most important people in John’s life(before the whole drugs and all) Paul and Cyn,I like how he was checking on her.

Hm… I thought he was ignoring her in order to talk to Paul…

I love it when people compare Paul’s importance to John with Cyn’s. Paul was his best friend, soulmate, helped him when his mother died, founded the band with him, wrote music with him, had the same aims and dreams in life, helped him during his trips, was his twin and opposite at the same time… Paul had an influence on John. Paul’s opinion was important for him. John owes his fame, his name to Paul. He was the most important person in John’s life, and John was practically obsessed with Paul till his death. He loved him all his life.

And Cyn. He dated her, she got pregnant, he married he (not because he wanted to, but because he had no other choice), he started to cheat on her right after the marriage, he spend a very little time with her, they had nothing in common, they had different aims and dreams, she had no influence on John, her opinion didn’t matter to him, he lied to her, ignored her and then kicked her out of his life without regrets. He forgot about her the day they got divorsed. Yeah, she was VERY important.

Let’s go back to 1945…

Let’s not… Let’s play a game called “Context Matters!”
That picture on the left, so iconic and romantic?  Yeah, that’s a sexual assault right there.  That man was a stranger, a strong stranger who grabbed a random woman on the street, and “kissed” her.  In her words:

Suddenly, I was grabbed by a sailor. It wasn’t that much of a kiss… “I felt that he was very strong. He was just holding me tight. I’m not sure about the kiss…it was just somebody celebrating. It wasn’t a romantic event.

That picture on the right, the one that looks like a man holding a woman down in the mists of a riot, her clothes disheveled as he kissed her hard?  That man is her boyfriend.  He’s comforting her.  Her real attackers are the police.  An eyewitness stated:

The girl who was knocked over landed head first on the pavement with her boyfriend landing partially on top of her. She was in visible pain, crying, but the two officers gave them a parting shove and moved on.

The left picture: an icon of sexism, male privilege, and female objectification.
The right: real love in the face of brutal state force.

“I can’t think of anybody who considered that as an assault,” said Friedman, who exchanges Christmas cards with Mendonsa every year and has appeared with him at several reunion events. “It was a happy event.”
Also her own words.

Yeah let’s blame Russians again. They saved you asses! When American cowards were dancing and filming romantic movies in Hollywood, Russians were dying, million by million, fighting the Nazis. Let’s pour some shit on them for raping German women. It’s not like Americans ever did something like that during the Vietnam war…

We ran out of plates.

This is possibly the greatest photo on Tumblr.

This is possibly the most disrespectful photo on Tumblr. I am not saying that you have to agree with what the bible says, but to utilize that book ‘as a plate’ knowing what it means to people, is just plain disrespectful to religion.

This is possibly the most disrespectful photo on Tumblr. I am not saying that you have to agree with the fact that pizza is the most delicious thing ever, but to let it touch that book, knowing how people misinterpret it as a reason to hate gays, is just plain disrespectful to pizza.
